Erin Gray. Ellensburg, Memorial Day Weekend.
It’s hard to believe that this was just the start of an epic summer. Apparently, the decision was made yesterday — next summer will top that one off. Not sure how that is possible. We sat in the park almost every day. We went night swimming. We drank coffee, boozey nectar, and ate on every patio in this damn city. We stopped wearing real clothes and traded in for dresses. We we greasy and sweaty messes. We’ve never longed so hard for summer. We took photos, drank too much, stayed on the fringe of trouble, and made friends in the process. Please come back soon.

“6 4” - Mike Jones, Bun B, Snoop Dogg. I’m doing some research for Sasha’s mix cd that I’m giving her for the holidays. It is strictly a mix about candy paint, 24s, 64s, wood grain wheels, and the like. So here I am, rummaging around in my itunes, not surprising that there’s plenty to choose from. If you have any suggestions, let me know.

Who wants to go climb on a (dead) pink bunny?!?@!!!!!!!
lickystickypickyme:

“Uhm…excuse me there is a big pink bunny on your mountain…”This is the work of a Viennese art group called Gelatin. The bunny is 200 feet long — a toy rabbit “knitted by dozens of grannies out of pink wool”. The toy is expected to stay there, on the side of this 5,000 foot high mountain (Colletto Fava in northern Italy’s Piedmont region) for 16 years, until 2025.
Group member Wolfgang Gantner said: “It’s supposed to make you feel small, like Gulliver. You walk around it and you can’t help but smile.”They expect hikers to find it, climb it, lie on it. However unlike when you look at it from top, climbers at eye level will take their time making the ironic discovery… that the rabbit is figuratively dead. It’s all warm and fuzzy until you realize that the beast’s open mouth of horror, its odd configuration, its organs by its side… it has fallen out of the sky to its death.
